Farmers' Market Feature: Bakers Grimm

Bakers Grimm is a bakery operating as a full family affair out of Hamden. Their baked goods are fresh and moving fast! Their small batch classic breads, bagels and pastries often sell out at the market– and with good reason. All their baked goods are made with organic Vermont grown and New York State milled flour and with the best water there is, Catskills water.

The company is selling their products wholesale in the county and weekly at area markets. Delmar Crim studied at the Culinary Institute of America and started Bakers Grimm after a long career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. His extraordinary experience is present in the quality of his baked goods. He operates Bakers Grimm with his wife, Carla, and the help of his two teenagers, Louis or Marissa.

Stop by and say hello to Delmar, Carla or any of the Crim family at the Delhi Farmers Market. Visit their Facebook page or website for more information on their products and story.

Farmers' Market Feature: Abba's Acres

Spotlight on one of our Delhi Farmers Market Vendors.

Abba’s Acres is a family farm founded in 2010 in Richmondville. It all started when Matthew and Jerri Betsinger purchased Jerri’s grandparents house and land. Inspired by the possibility of the land, which had been hayed in years prior, they grew interested in using the land themselves.

They began small with eggs and quickly moved into poultry and produce. Their kids developed a passion for farming and started their own endeavors by farming bees, producing maple syrup and baking a variety of goods.

Now you can find them at Delhi Farmers Market selling chicken, eggs, maple syrup, fudge, jams and more. To keep up with their ever-evolving products and endeavors check out their website and Facebook page.
