Rain Couldn't Stop the Fun! Delhi Harvest Festival Celebrates Another Successful Year

More than 100 vendors, a fantastic community turnout and plenty of fall spirit made the 2026 Delhi Harvest Festival a success, despite some challenging weather.

The weather may not have cooperated, but that certainly didn't stop the Delhi community from showing up!

On Saturday, September 26, the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed residents and visitors to the annual Delhi Harvest Festival, bringing together more than 100 vendors for a day celebrating local businesses, creativity, community and the arrival of fall in the Catskills.

Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, the festival enjoyed a wonderful turnout, proving once again how much this annual tradition means to our community.

More Than 100 Vendors Help Make the Festival Special

One of the things that makes the Delhi Harvest Festival such a wonderful event is the incredible variety of vendors who participate. This year, more than 100 vendors joined the festivities, offering visitors the opportunity to shop, discover unique products, connect with small business owners and enjoy a day in the heart of Delhi.

From talented artisans and makers to local businesses and food vendors, the festival provided a wonderful showcase for the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity found throughout our region.

Events like the Harvest Festival are especially important because they introduce visitors to businesses they may not otherwise discover, while giving local residents another opportunity to support the people who work and invest in our community.

A Little Weather Couldn't Keep Delhi Away

Outdoor events always come with an element of unpredictability, and this year's festival was no exception. But despite the challenging conditions, vendors arrived ready to welcome visitors, and the community turned out to support them.

We are especially grateful to everyone who braved the weather to shop, visit with friends and help make the day such a success.

Celebrating the Leadership of Christina Viafore

Behind every successful community event is an enormous amount of work that most people never see.

This year, we want to offer special recognition to Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce Board Member Christina Viafore, who leads the planning and organization of the Delhi Harvest Festival on behalf of the Chamber.

Coordinating an event with more than 100 vendors is no small undertaking. From organizing participants and managing logistics to coordinating the many details that go into festival day, Christina's leadership is central to making this beloved annual event possible.

Her commitment, energy and dedication are a tremendous asset to the Chamber and to the greater Delhi community.

Community events don't simply happen. They require people who are willing to invest their time, take responsibility and work through the inevitable challenges that come with bringing so many people together.

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce extends a heartfelt thank-you to every vendor who participated in this year's Harvest Festival, especially those who persevered through the challenging weather.

We also thank the volunteers, Chamber Board members, local businesses and community partners who contributed to the event's success. And, of course, thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the festival. Your support is what keeps events like this going strong.

The Delhi Harvest Festival is about more than a day of shopping and entertainment. It's about bringing people together, introducing student families to our area, supporting small businesses and celebrating the community we're so proud to call home.
