Franklin Stage Company is the only fully professional, admission-free theater in the Western Catskills. Their summer season runs July 4–Labor Day in historic Chapel Hall (b.1853), an architectural gem that was once home to the Delaware Literary Institute. Each season FSC produces classic and modern theater productions, using professional actors through the Actors Equity union. FSC also presents 3–4 emerging and established artists working in a variety of performance disciplines. Their mission is to bring together performers and audiences to create community and share the enduring power of stories, while making quality theater accessible to all.
