Farmers' Market Feature: dear native grapes

Dear native grapes, is a vineyard and winery in Walton, NY. The vineyard is dedicated to growing North American native and hybrid grapes to honor and restore grapes that were once very popular in North American winemaking. The winegrowing methods used by the owners, Deanna Urciuoli and Alfie Alcántara, are modeled after holistic and regenerative philosophies, applied both on the farm and in the cellar. Farmers’ Market Feature: The Farmer’s Wife

The Farmer’s Wife, Barbara Hanselman of Del-Rose Farm, bakes fresh pies and other baked goods, selling them weekly at the Delhi Farmers’ Market. During this holiday season, buy one of her pies to enjoy at your holiday party! Seasonally, The Farmer’s Wife pies are sold at the Del-Rose Farm Stand (and other local farm stands!) alongside produce and other local goods.

Farmers' Market Feature: Burn Ayr Farm

Burn Ayr Farm on Route 28 in Delhi, NY, has been a family farm since 1890 with two generations of the Sullivans working the farm today. They offer a variety of cuts of beef and pork, available at the Delhi Farmers’ Market and directly from the farm. This November 29th and 30th they are hosting their annual holiday market from 10am-4pm inside their roadside farm stand at 21031 NY 28, just outside the village of Delhi. Farmers’ Market Feature: Chesterbury Farms

Chesterbury Farms is a gourmet mushroom farm that was founded in Davenport, NY, in 2019. The farm grows a variety of gourmet mushrooms that rotate seasonally including Oyster Mushrooms, King Trumpet, Chestnut, Lions Mane, Pioppino, and Shiitake. Chesterbury Farms sells their products at local markets and are regular vendors at the year-round Delhi Farmers’ Market. Stop by the market soon and see what they have in store. First Indoor Farmers' Market!

The Delhi Farmers’ Market has officially moved indoors until spring! The market will continue each Wednesday, from 10am-2pm, now from the indoor comfort of the Delhi American Legion. If you have yet to visit the legion, you are in for a treat. The room where the farmers’ market is held is full of character with a beautiful wooden ceiling and beams. Supporting local farmers’ through the colder months is a great way to help sustain their presence in our community. Farmers’ are growing greens and vegetables inside greenhouses to provide the community with fresh vegetables year round. Find fresh baked goods, honey, maple syrup, jewelry, and much more at the indoors Delhi Farmers’ Market this season!

One Remaining Outdoor Farmers' Market

The Delhi Farmers’ Market is a huge attraction each summer in the village of Delhi and this summer was no different. With over 50 vendors each week, the community had a bounty of produce, baked goods, preserves, herbal products, and much more at their fingertips. The food vendors provided a destination for lunch, and Courthouse Square was a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. After a successful outdoor season, the market will move indoors to the Delhi American Legion on November 6th. You can still get your farmers’ market haul deep into the throes of winter. Farmers' Market Feature: Ty's Taco-Ria

Ty’s Taco-Ria taco truck drives all over the area serving up delicious tacos made with local ingredients. The taco truck has been a staple at the Delhi Farmers’ Market all season long, feeding the community high quality taco’s, tortilla chips, guacamole, and fresh beverages. Though their season is winding down, they may have a few appearances in the community. The Concrete Creative is a Delhi Farmers' Market vendor and also has a brick and mortar shop in Hamden, NY. Visit them at the market for sculptural homewares made out of concrete, jewelry, adornments, and other made or found items. Delhi Farmers' Market, Year-Round!

The Delhi Farmers’ Market was a huge success this summer! With Courthouse Square filled with local vendors every Wednesday, rain or shine, the patrons of the market were supplied with their weekly groceries. Local farmers were selling fresh produce, meat and eggs, and on top of that, there were amazing vendors selling jam and preserves, hot sauce, herbal remedies, hand-carved wooden items, jewelry, cheese, flowers, baked goods, and much more.

This past Wednesday at the farmers’ market, the vendors celebrated the success of summer with a pot luck lunch and a lovely group photo! The market will continue outdoors until October 30th. On November 6th, the market will move indoors at the Delhi American Legion at 41 Page Avenue. 

Thank you to all of the wonderful vendors and all of the patrons of the market who continue to make the Delhi Farmers’ Market one of the biggest in the area!

Double Z Farm is a family-farm in Delhi, NY. They offer a special variety of items at the Delhi Farmers’ Market including lamb, beef, chicken, and rabbit. Double Z offers alpaca yarn and suet feeders stuffed with alpaca fur that provide nesting birds soft materials to add to their nests. Succurro is a collaborative, experimental creative project in East Meredith, NY, that began in 2017. As a farm, they cultivate food in alignment with the natural patterns and cycles of the ecosystem, putting the needs of the animals first. They offer events and feasts at their farm and offer bread, chicken, and pork at the Delhi Farmers’ Market. The sourdough bread is made in a wood burning stove by hand each week. Zeep Naturals, located near the Pepacton Reservoir, offers artisanal vegan soaps inspired by the Catskills. Platner Brook Farm is a family-owned and operated farm in Delhi, NY. They raise grass-fed sheep and lamb and offer their products in a variety of ways. One of their most sought after products is the merguez sausage. Perfect for any meal, merguez is a spiced sausage that is fantastic grilled, fried, or however you like. Skytop Springs Fish Farm, located in Sidney Center, NY, provides fresh trout that has been hatched, raised, and harvested in the foothills of the Catskills. They sell certified NY grown whole trout, hand-deboned fillets, Northwest style smoked and hot smoked fillets, trout cakes, and a smoked trout spread.  For a true taste of the area, smoked trout is the place to start! The Wood Butcher is a regular at the Delhi Farmers’ Market and creates one-of-a-kind bowls, plates, spoons, and other items. All of the wood is found locally and churned by Mark Kohler. Each item is freshly made, most within the last year, from beautifully textured wood.
