The Delaware County Historical Association was founded in 1945 to preserve and share the history of Delaware County. In the early 60’s the Association purchased the historic Frisbee house which served as a meeting ground for 18th century politicians who formed Delaware County, and now as a meeting ground for young historians and those interested in knowing more about the county.
This summer the Historical Association will be hosting a number of interesting events. The amazing grounds of the Frisbee House, with a blacksmith shop, one-room schoolhouse, gun shop, toll gate and other outbuildings, will open for the season on May 27th.
