Chamber Member Spotlight: Franklin Eyewear

Franklin Eyewear Approaches a Decade of Service in Delhi

In a world increasingly dominated by big-box retailers, online shopping, and corporate chains, there's something special about a local business that builds its reputation one customer, one family, and one relationship at a time.

This September, Franklin Eyewear will mark 10 years of serving the Delhi community. Since opening in 2016, the locally owned business has become a trusted resource for quality eyewear, professional expertise, and personalized service.

As the business approaches this important milestone, it's an opportunity to reflect on what has helped Franklin Eyewear thrive for nearly a decade: a commitment to putting people first.

At Franklin Eyewear, purchasing glasses is about much more than selecting frames. Every customer receives personalized attention from both Johanna VanDeusen, a NYS Licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser or Dr. Helen Luu Garner, an experienced Optometrist. The team at Franklin Eyewear takes the time to understand each clients visual needs, lifestyle, and preferences. Whether someone is purchasing their first pair of glasses, updating a prescription, or searching for the perfect frame, the focus remains on providing individualized solutions and expert guidance.

That level of service has become increasingly valuable in today's fast-paced retail environment.

Customers who choose Franklin Eyewear benefit from accurate measurements, prescription verification, eyewear adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting support long after their purchase. The business also offers warranties on many products and stands behind the eyewear it sells, creating peace of mind that extends well beyond the day a customer walks out the door.

What many people don't realize is that purchasing eyewear from a local provider often means gaining an ongoing relationship with a trusted professional. When adjustments are needed, prescriptions change, or questions arise, customers know they have a knowledgeable local expert they can turn to for help.

Franklin Eyewear has also remained committed to affordability throughout its nearly ten years in business. Despite the challenges faced by many small businesses—including a global pandemic, supply chain disruptions, and rising inflation—the business has worked hard to keep quality eyewear accessible to local families. Their mission has remained consistent: providing quality eyecare and eyewear at affordable prices while maintaining the high standards customers expect.

Approaching a decade in business is an achievement worth celebrating. It reflects years of dedication, adaptability, and the trust of countless customers who have chosen Franklin Eyewear for their eyewear needs.

As Franklin Eyewear looks ahead to its tenth anniversary in September 2026, the business remains focused on the same values that guided it from the beginning: professional expertise, quality products, personalized service, and a genuine commitment to the community it serves.
