The nursery was founded in 2020 with an interest in increasing accessibility to and knowledge of native plants in the Catskills region. The plants are always nursery grown from responsibly-sourced local seeds. This ensures the plants are locally adapted to the specific growing conditions of the Catskills and are best suited to strengthen local ecosystems.
