Summer Is Officially Here in The Delhi Area

Beyond this weekend's events, signs of summer are appearing throughout the area.

The Delhi Pool is open for the season, providing a refreshing way for residents and visitors to cool off during warm summer days including water aerobics Monday through Thursday through August. Swimming lessons at SUNY Delhi and youth tennis and little league programs are helping local children stay active, learn new skills, and make the most of the season.

And of course, one of the greatest pleasures of summer is outdoor dining.

Whether you're enjoying dinner on the back at The Shire Pub, gathering with friends under the umbrellas at Strickland Hollow Cafe, grabbing a slice outside at Delhi Pizza Company, grabbing lunch at Good Cheap Food, or relaxing outdoors on the golf course at Bluestone, summer dining offers a chance to slow down and enjoy a meal and drink outdoors right in Delhi.

Wherever your weekend takes you, we encourage you to shop local, support local organizations, attend community events, and enjoy everything that makes this region such a special place to live, work, and visit.
