Thanks to all who came out to our mixer last week!

Our Summer 2026 Mixer, hosted by Chamber members Steady Slope Strength trainers Amanda Dwelyng and Jamie Fuselier, was a tremendous success.

Mixer guests explored the property located on the Delhi-Bovina border checking out the gym, sauna, and campgrounds while enjoying healthy treats prepared by personal chef Catherine Herr of New Day Kitchen. A dozen lucky raffle winners received gift certificates for training sessions and sauna time.

Chamber President Jerry Pellegrino welcomed new members and spoke about the upcoming rebrand of the Delhi Farmers' Market. He also reminded guests that we are the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce. While our focus includes communities throughout the Delaware Academy School District, businesses and individuals from all communities are welcome to join.

Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce Mixer at Steady Slope

The Summer Chamber Mixer is happening Tuesday, June 2nd at 5:00 PM at Steady Slope Strength .

Steady Slope Strength is a small-group personal training and fitness program facility based out of Steady Slope Fields and Forest, a family-owned farm located at 481 John Williams Road, Delhi, NY. Training is available with Amanda Dwelyng, a Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Yoga Instructor, and Masters in Exercise Physiology and Jaime Fuselier who also offers one-on-one personal training and individualized coaching.

All of our Chamber mixers are relaxed, welcoming evenings that bring together business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community members for great conversation, festive food and drinks, and easy networking. We are excited to have food and drink provided by New Day Kitchen and raffle prizes from Steady Slope Strength as well.

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce will also present its Star Award during the event.

Valentine's Chamber Mixer Recap

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce Valentine’s Mixer on Tuesday, February 10th. What a fantastic way to kick off our first Chamber Mixer of 2026!

We are especially grateful to Chamber member Nini Ordoubadi of Tay Tea for hosting such a warm and welcoming evening. Guests arrived in festive red attire to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and the room was filled with connection, conversation, and community spirit.

During the evening, we were proud to present our Star Award for Outstanding Community Service to the Delhi Village Street Department and to Amy Randall. Delicious food and drinks were provided by Eve's Empanadas, Tay Tea, and Strickland Hollow Farm.

We are so fortunate to have a business community that shows up, supports one another, and celebrates the people who make Delhi such a vibrant place to live and work.

Valentine's Mixer at Tay Tea

The Winter Chamber Mixer is happening Tuesday, February 10 at 5:00 PM at Tay Tea on Main Street in Delhi.

Chamber mixers are relaxed, welcoming evenings that bring together business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community members for great conversation, festive food and drinks, and easy networking. Nini from Tay Tea invites everyone to wear red or accessorize in red and come ready to enjoy delicious, red-themed food and beverages.

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce will also present its first Star Award of 2026 during the event.

Fall Mixer at Strickland Hollow Farm

The Fall Chamber Mixer is coming up this Tuesday, September 16th at 5pm at the gorgeous Strickland Hollow Farm in Meridale, NY! Food will be prepared by the SUNY Delhi Hot Food Team, signature cocktails will be served up from the Strickland Hollow distillery, and there will be plenty of mingling and mixing with business owners and community members. We can’t wait to see you there!

Summer Mixer Recap

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the start of summer with its Summer Mixer Happy Hour on Tuesday, June 24th. Held in the charming courtyard at This & That, the event brought together local business owners, community leaders, and friends for an evening of connection, celebration, and appreciation.

Each quarter, the Chamber hosts a mixer to honor a standout business, event, or community leader with a Star Award. This summer, the spotlight was on Faiga Brussel, founder of Good Cheap Food. Established in 1976 as a small buying club, Faiga's store has since become a beloved Main Street institution in Delhi. Surrounded by friends, family, and admirers, Faiga received the Community Business Award in recognition of her decades of entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to the local community.

The Chamber also proudly presented Pellegrino Grant Awards to The Lost Bookshop and Ninth of June. These grants support visual and cosmetic improvements that enhance the beauty and appeal of the Greater Delhi Area.

This event marked the final mixer presided over by outgoing Chamber President Lisa Wisely, who is stepping down from the board to focus on her business and upcoming film projects. The Chamber also welcomed incoming President Jerry Pellegrino, who will continue to build on the Chamber's momentum and commitment to the Delhi business community.

With delicious food and cocktails by Matt Marchese, lively conversation, and perfect weather, the Summer Mixer was a tremendous success. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

The guest of honor will be Faiga Brussel, receiving a Star Award in recognition of her decades of entrepreneurial leadership and commitment to the Delhi community. Come out and celebrate our amazing business community this Tuesday!

Star Award & Winter Mixer Happy Hour 2025

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its quarterly mixer, the Winter Mixer Happy Hour, this past Tuesday, February 18th at PICC’S Pub on Main Street. Lisa Wisely, the President of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce, greeted everyone with a lovely introduction about the purpose of the Chamber of Commerce and shared about the Pellegrino Grant. The Pellegrino Grant provides funds to two Delhi area businesses that are making beautification improvements, as a way to enhance the charm of Delhi. Wisely shared that grant applications are now live and applications will be accepted until March 31st. 

Following the introduction, Lisa Wisely welcomed Matt Krzyston, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, to announce this quarter's Star Award recipients.

Cindi and Jim Smart were awarded a Community Volunteer Star Award for their amazing stewardship to the village of Delhi. Whether you know Cindi and Jim personally or not, you have most likely seen them walking around the village picking up trash along the way. They humbly accepted the award and shared how they found their way to move to the Greater Delhi Area. On a beautiful summer evening they were visiting the village of Delhi and happened upon the Fair on the Square. They were captivated by the charming July festival and decided to put down roots in the area.

Chamber Mixer & Star Award Celebration

Thank you to all who attended the Chamber Mixer at Strickland Hollow Farm this past Tuesday, September 10th! We had a fantastic turnout, delicious wine, beer, and cocktails, and food prepared by the SUNY Delhi Hot Foods Culinary Team. We cannot thank our hosts Strickland Hollow Farm enough for hosting a wonderful get together for the business community of the Greater Delhi Area. 

At the event, we had the honor to present Lauren O’Leary with a Star Award for her generous and thoughtful work with the community organization W.I.D.E. NY. The organization promotes the inclusion and equality of all people through education and community outreach in the Greater Delhi Area. O’Leary received the award and shared a thoughtful speech highlighting how the support from the local community fueled her efforts.

Mixer at Strickland Hollow Farm - September 10th

Strickland Hollow Farm will host the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce mixer on their beautiful farm in Meridale, NY. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 10th beginning at 4pm, with food and drinks, great company, and beautiful scenery.

The SUNY Delhi Culinary Hot Foods Team will be providing food for the event. The team recently placed second in the prestigious 2024 American Culinary Federation (ACF) Student Team of the Year competition after coming in first for the Northeast Region. Read about the team's success here. We are so happy to celebrate with them and enjoy their fantastic culinary expertise at the mixer.

Chamber Mixer Recap

Thank you to all who attended the Summer Mixer Happy Hour! We had a lovely turn out and a fantastic time. A huge thank you to Bizzy Bees Learning Academy and Delhi Work Station for hosting the mixer and another huge thank you to Strickland Hollow who provided delicious drinks and sandwiches! 

We used the mixer as an opportunity to award this quarter’s Star Award. Amanda Faulk-Ghidinelli received a Community Business Star for her exceptional business, Bizzy Bees Learning Academy. Bizzy Bees offers a warm, nurturing, and educational environment with influences of modern learning such as Montessori and Waldorf teaching styles in the newly renovated building on Kingston Street. They are proud to offer a space where children feel safe and empowered but most importantly feel included. Families in the greater Delhi area have been positively impacted by Bizzy Bees Learning Academy, and the great reviews of Bizzy Bees keep on coming. The Chamber was happy to recognize Amanda Faulk-Ghidinelli’s hard work with this quarter's Star Award. Thank you to everyone who attended the Winter Mixer Happy Hour, our first Chamber Mixer of the year! We had a great turn out and a fantastic time. A huge thank you to Good Cheap Food, hosts of the mixer, who provided a cocktail, delicious charcuterie boards, and hors d'oeuvres. Strickland Hollow Tasting Room & Bottle Shop graciously donated a variety of wine, and Kento Igarashi was there taking Valentine’s Day portraits. 

We used the mixer as an opportunity to award this quarter's Star Award. James Bracci, of Mid-County Auto Body and Glass, accepted the award for the Exceptional Customer Service he provides the Greater Delhi Community. When he accepted the award he expressed his gratitude to the community, his passion for helping and connecting with others, and his sustained interest in being there for the Greater Delhi Area, of course all said with his distinctive humor and candor.

The mixer was a great opportunity to hear from Lisa Wisely, who is now the Chamber President. She announced the new Chamber Board members who are Dave Rama Sr., Jerry Pellegrino, and James Arrufat. Overall it was a wonderful way to start the year, meet new people, and celebrate the Greater Delhi Area. We can’t wait to see you at the next one!

Winter Mixer Happy Hour & Star Award

Mid-County Auto Body and Glass provides quality auto-body and collision services led by the charge of James Bracci who greets each customer with friendly professionalism.

On Wednesday, February 7th from 5-7pm, the Chamber will give away a Star Award and Good Cheap Food will provide food, cocktails, and will be offering Valentine’s Day Portraits! This is a great evening to mingle with the business community of Delhi while enjoying a sampling of food from Good Cheap Food.

Join us for our Next Mixer on August 29th

The next Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce Mixer will be held on Tuesday, August 29th from 5-7pm at Strickland Hollow Farm in Meridale. In addition to their bottle shop and tasting room and new eatery on Main Street in Delhi, Jerry and Erica have a working farm where they host events like weddings and produce their own line of distilled spirits.

Spend an evening meeting fellow business owners and community supporters on this stunning farm. There will be food provided by a number of local chefs including Matt Marchese, Ed O’Neill from The Shire, Jonah Shaw from Quarter Moon Cafe, Catskill Smokehouse and Good Cheap Food and Jerry Pellegrino who has bee in the restaurant business for decades and is now serving food at the Strickland Hollow Shop from Wednesday through Saturday each week.

There will be a Strickland Hollow signature cocktail and an open mic in case you are feeling like performing.

These networking events are a chance to make connections and a chance to find out what is going on the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to hello@visitdelhiny.org.

Thanks for Joining Us!

Thank you to everyone who attended the most recent Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce networking mixer. This was originally scheduled to be a ribbon cutting to celebrate THE LOCALE, the Shire’s new outdoor experience but due to bad weather and air quality, we hosted this event inside. While we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors or celebrate the new space, we did enjoy every minute of the mixer.

We used this party to award a check to DBS (Delaware Business Systems) of Delhi who were one of our two 2023 Pellegrino Grant recipients. The other award of $2,500 went to Delaware County Historical Society.

We also used this mixer as an opportunity to give out our 2023 Star Awards.

• Business Award: Allison Oil

• Customer Service: Johnathan Squires from Price Chopper

These mixers are an opportunity for members or people interested in getting involved in the Chamber to find out who we are and what we are doing. Chamber Mixer and Grand Opening

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the next networking mixer and ribbon cutting at the opening of O’Neill’s Shire Pub’s new patio bar, The Locale. 

We will also use this opportunity to give out our 2023 Star Awards.
