From the Farmers’ Market to the Farm: Welcome Back, Azul!
One of the best things about the Delhi Farmers’ Market is discovering something delicious on Wednesday—and realizing you don’t have to wait until the following week to have it again.
This week, we’re spotlighting Azul at Greenane Farms, bringing Mexican food, family tradition and the flavors of the farm to the Delhi Farmers’ Market each Wednesday, while also welcoming diners back to Greenane Farms in Meridale Thursday through Saturday.
If Greenane Farms is familiar to you, there’s good reason. The farm has long been a special part of our local food community, and we’re thrilled to see Azul return to Meridale, serving Mexican cuisine in the beautiful farm setting at 196 County Highway 10.
At the Delhi Farmers’ Market, Azul gives shoppers a taste of what they do with favorites including empanadas, tamales and Mexican iced coffee. It’s exactly what we love about our market: you can shop for locally grown produce, meet farmers and makers, grab something wonderful to eat and discover a local business you may want to visit again.
And when Wednesday leaves you wanting more, head to the farm.
Azul at Greenane Farms is currently open Thursday through Saturday from 4:00–9:00 PM, with a menu rooted in Mexican cuisine and the farm-to-table traditions that have made Greenane Farms a destination. From tacos and tamales to beautiful dishes like mole de la casa, this is food meant to be enjoyed around the table.
That connection between our farms, food businesses and community is also exactly what the Delhi Farmers’ Market is about. The market isn’t simply a place to pick up groceries—it’s a place to discover the people growing, making and cooking incredible things throughout our region.
So make Azul part of your week twice: find them Wednesday at the Delhi Farmers’ Market from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, then visit Azul at Greenane Farms in Meridale Thursday through Saturday.
