Located on State Highway 28 in Delhi, Delhi Animal Hospital is a full-service, mixed-animal veterinary practice serving Delhi and communities throughout Delaware County. In 2023, veterinarians Dr. Faith Frandsen and Dr. Madeline Chapin purchased the longtime practice, continuing its legacy while building the next chapter of veterinary care in our community.
Their mission is straightforward but important: to provide compassionate, accessible and high-quality veterinary care while supporting the health and well-being of both pets and livestock.
That means Delhi Animal Hospital isn't just where you bring the family dog or cat for an annual checkup. Its team provides care for companion animals as well as cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs and other livestock—an important service in a rural community like ours.
The hospital offers a broad range of veterinary services, including wellness exams and vaccinations, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, acupuncture and emergency care during available hours. In-house laboratory capabilities allow the team to perform many diagnostic tests on site, while X-ray and ultrasound imaging provide additional tools when an animal needs more extensive evaluation.
Delhi Animal Hospital also offers house calls, including wellness care and compassionate end-of-life services for companion animals in the comfort of home. For local farms and large-animal clients, its veterinarians provide services ranging from routine wellness care and vaccinations to reproductive exams, health certificates and same-day sick calls. Established large-animal clients can also access after-hours emergency assistance.
