Farmers’ Market Spotlight: momoglobal flowers

Some farms grow food. Some farms grow experiences.

Nestled on 20 acres in Jeffersonville, momoglobal flowers is doing a little bit of both by cultivating beautiful blooms, artistic expression, and meaningful community connections throughout the Catskills.

Founded by Kaya Abe Magee, momoglobal flowers combines biodynamic flower farming with the centuries-old Japanese art of Ikebana, creating a business that feels both deeply rooted in the local landscape and connected to traditions from around the world. What began as a passion for floral design has blossomed into a unique destination where flowers, creativity, and nature come together.

Kaya's journey into flower farming began during the pandemic when she found herself spending more time outdoors and learning about biodynamic agriculture. Inspired by the relationship between healthy soil, healthy ecosystems, and healthy communities, she established momoglobal flowers in 2022 and began cultivating flowers using biodynamic farming principles on her Jeffersonville property.

The result is a stunning variety of blooms grown with care and intention. According to Kaya, biodynamic practices help create stronger plants with vibrant colors, fragrant petals, and longer vase life. Beyond the flowers themselves, the farm provides habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife, helping support the broader ecosystem that makes our rural communities so special.

But flowers are only part of the story.

As a longtime practitioner and teacher of Ikebana, Kaya brings a unique artistic perspective to everything she creates. Unlike traditional Western floral arrangements that often emphasize abundance, Ikebana focuses on balance, simplicity, movement, and the beauty of space. Through workshops, classes, and demonstrations, Kaya introduces participants to this centuries-old art form while encouraging mindfulness, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for nature.

The next time you visit the Delhi Farmers' Market, be sure to stop by momoglobal flowers. Whether you're looking for a beautiful bouquet, interested in learning more about biodynamic farming, or simply want to brighten someone's day, you'll find something special waiting among the blooms.

Farmers’ Market Spotlight: Silo 52 Flowers & For You by Terah Patrocinio

One of the things that makes the Delhi Farmers' Market so special is the way it brings together creative small businesses, local makers, and the people behind them. This week’s Farmers’ Market Spotlight highlights two vendors who not only share a tent—but also share a family connection.

Sisters behind Silo 52 Flowers and For You by Terah Patrocinio have created a market space that feels thoughtful, creative, and distinctly personal, offering visitors two unique businesses side by side each week.

Silo 52 Flowers brings beautiful locally grown flowers and arrangements to the market, adding color, texture, and a sense of seasonal beauty to Courthouse Square. Alongside them is For You by Terah Patrocinio, a creative handmade brand featuring thoughtfully designed products that reflect artistry, personality, and care. Together, the sisters have created a welcoming market presence that blends creativity, craftsmanship, and community connection.

What makes their shared tent especially memorable is the experience itself. Visitors are able to explore two complementary businesses in one stop while meeting the people behind the work. It’s a reminder that the Delhi Farmers’ Market is not just about shopping locally—it’s about building relationships with the artists, growers, and makers who help define this community.
