Meredith Dairy Fest 2023

The beloved annual Meredith Dairy Fest is taking place Saturday, June 10th and Sunday, June 11th. June is national dairy month and Delaware County seizes the moment to celebrate the dairy history of the county and the farmers who continue this work today.

Spend the day at the fest in the kids activity tent, shopping in the huge vendor market, enjoying snacks from local food trucks, and learning dairy and farm facts from our farmers. We can’t wait to see you there! Find out more on their website, Facebook and Instagram.

Delhi Fair in the Square Seeks Vendors

The Fair on the Square event in Delhi is looking for vendors. The Fair is held from 5-9 p.m. each Friday in July, rain or shine. The goal is to provide fun-filled evenings for the entire family with games, food, arts and crafts, music, and vendors who, preferably, sell locally grown or homemade items.

27th Annual Delhi Bridge Run

The 27th Annual Delhi Bridge Run is taking place Saturday, June 3rd in Delhi. This time tested event has been bringing the community together for nearly three decades to raise money for two graduating seniors and a charitable organization of their choice. The race begins and ends at Hoyt Park in Delhi with an awards ceremony immediately following. There is still time to make donations and sign up to participate. The race would not be possible without the community's participation. We hope to see you there!


This year W.I.D.E, NY is hosting a festival immediately following the Bridge Run at Courthouse Square in Delhi. This event is unrelated to the annual run but encourages families to come over from the Bridge Run to enjoy food and activities. This is a family-friendly event with activities like rolling your own sushi, making persian tea blends and a West African drumming demonstration. Find out more on their website.

Farmers' Market Feature: Catskill Momos

Catskill Momos is a Himalayan Restaurant that sells authentic Tibetan dumplings, Mango Lassi and other rotating items at the Delhi Farmers’ Market. They offer a variety of sauces to accompany your momos so you can accent the taste exactly how you like it.

It’s a perfect lunch to have while doing your weekly shopping at the market but you can also catch Catskill Momos at their brick and mortar location at 191 Main Street in Delhi from 11am-7pm on Thursday-Saturdays. Enjoy and stop by weekly as the variety of momos changes with seasonal ingredients. 

Chamber Member Spotlight: Heart of The Catskills Humane Society

The Heart of the Catskills Humane Society is a small shelter with huge heart taking care of rescues and strays until they find their forever home in the Catskill mountains. This shelter has been around for over 50 years and diligently serves the greater Delhi area. They have a thrift shop on site that sells a variety of items from clothing for humans and animals to water dishes, books, glassware and everything in between. 


For the first time since the pandemic, the Humane Society is hosting an in-person fundraiser. On Saturday, June 17th, The shelter is excited to welcome you to enjoy a night of dinner, dancing and fundraising among fellow animal lovers. Located on Route 28 next to a huge pond with ample parking and space to eat inside or out, this homemade ice cream is to be enjoyed often! Farmers' Market Feature: Pizzo's Gourmet Food

Pizzo’s Gourmet Foods from Delhi, NY can help you make a quick and fresh meal with their homemade and ready to go meals. They make fresh ravioli, fresh pasta, prepared meals, sauces, salad dressing and desserts (like cheesecake and cannolis!).

Chamber Mixer and Grand Opening

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the next networking mixer and ribbon cutting at the opening of O’Neill’s Shire Pub’s new patio bar, The Locale. 

We will also use this opportunity to give out our 2023 Star Awards. 

Our award recipients this year are:

World W.I.D.E. Family Festival

W.I.D.E. NY, (Womxn for Inclusion, Diversity + Equity) is hosting a multi-cultural festival on Saturday, June 3rd from 11am-2pm. This is a free family-friendly event full of captivating activities intended to share a glimpse into a variety of cultural traditions and pastimes.

Some activities include making your own sushi roll with Tuna III, making your own Persian tea blend with Tay Tea, Ikebana (the Art of Japanese flower arranging) with Meat & Flowers, and a West African drumming performance. There are scheduled events happening from 11am-2pm. Swing by with your family after the Bridge Run and enjoy one of the many free activities. Find the full schedule on the website

Elsewhere Farm is located in Hamden, NY and specializes in microgreens and playfully potted succulents. They grow a variety of greens in their heated greenhouse including sunflower shoots, wheatgrass, pea shoots and blends. Flats of micro greens are available by pre-order online and at local farmers’ markets.

Steady Slope Fields and Forest began in the spring of 2019 when Amanda and Christopher moved from NYC to create a space for people to enjoy nature, find community in a rural setting and move in a softer manner than city living. They have since built a beautiful place for primitive camping, glamping and private stays in a suite. There is a luxurious sauna and outdoor tub available for relaxation and healing.

Charlotteville Coffee Roastery is a wonderful new addition to the Delhi Farmers’ Market. They roast Guatemalan and Peruvian beans in their coffee roastery in the Charlotteville General Store. The beans are roasted to perfection for not only a delicious cup of coffee but also a comforting one.

Chamber Member Spotlight: Delaware County Historical Society

The Delaware County Historical Association was founded in 1945 to preserve and share the history of Delaware County. In the early 60’s the Association purchased the historic Frisbee house which served as a meeting ground for 18th century politicians who formed Delaware County, and now as a meeting ground for young historians and those interested in knowing more about the county. 


This summer the Historical Association will be hosting a number of interesting events. The amazing grounds of the Frisbee House, with a blacksmith shop, one-room schoolhouse, gun shop, toll gate and other outbuildings, will open for the season on May 27th.

The Civil War Reenactment “Clash of the Catskills” will happen on July 8th and 9th. Saturday, July 29th will be an Enchanted Evening at the Gideon Frisbee House that will feature an extensive dish to pass buffet and live music with a dessert buffet finishing out the evening! Farmers' Market Returns to Courthouse Square

Back on Courthouse Square every Wednesday.

Please join us in welcoming the Delhi Farmers’ Market back to Courthouse Square in Delhi. The market which takes refuge form the harsh temperatures of the colder months at the American Legion in Delhi will be back outside starting this Wednesday, May 3rd.

More vendors added throughout the spring and summer.

You will find a variety of incredible vendors along the Square each Wednesday from 10am to 2pm. New vendors will be added as we get closer to Memorial Day. If you are interested in being a vendor at the market, please find the application here.

Hipstitch Academy is a sewing school started by Megan Avery as a way to encourage people to make their own clothing and alter thrifted clothes as alternatives to fast fashion. The school is online, in person in Harpersfield and now at the Farmers’ Market!

Rock Royal Farm is located in Walton, NY and sells their products in farmers’ markets all around the area as well as at the Hamden General Store. They sell whole chickens, granola, a delicious variety of vegetables, coffee and so much more. They are inventive with their creations, keeping summer garden favorites around in the colder months with their rice seasoning blends such as the shishito spice mix.
