Supporting Tourism, Strengthening Community: Celebrating 2026 Grant Recipients

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to congratulate a few of our members—and projects we were honored to fiscally sponsor—on receiving 2026 Delaware County Tourism Development and Promotion Grants through Delaware County Economic Development.

This annual grant program supports projects, events, and initiatives that strengthen Delaware County’s tourism economy, attract visitors, and enhance the county’s profile as a year-round destination. From cultural programming to destination marketing and special events, these grants help bring new energy and opportunity to communities across the county.

We are especially excited to celebrate The Findery and Kings, two projects for which the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce proudly served as fiscal sponsor during the grant application process. Supporting strong local ideas and helping businesses and organizations access funding opportunities is an important part of our mission, and we are thrilled to see both projects recognized.

We also want to congratulate West Kortright Centre, another Chamber member, on receiving funding as part of this year’s program. Their continued work in arts, culture, and community engagement plays an important role in bringing visitors to the region and enriching the local experience.

These investments help strengthen Delaware County as a destination while supporting the businesses, organizations, and creative leaders who make our communities vibrant places to live, work, and visit. We are proud to celebrate these recipients and look forward to seeing their projects come to life. Click here to find the entire list of grant winners.

Supporting our Local Business Owners

When we heard about the impact the bridge repair was having on the business, the Chamber quickly rallied to produce a graphic to share through social media alerting people that Sheila's Sunny Dale Florist was still open for business.

The Greater Delhi Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to participate in Small Business Saturday. In conjunction with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, we welcomed a re-opening of Sheila's Sunny Dale Florist.  With her business negatively impacted by a several month renovation of the Kingston Street Bridge, we gathered on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to welcome Sheila's back as we marked the end of the bridge repairs.

Sheila's is open, full of amazing festive arrangements for the holidays. Stop by and say hello to Sheila!

Fast forward a few months, we are thrilled to welcome Sheila's Sunny Dale Florist back to normal.
