Farmers’ Market Spotlight: Two Stones Farm

One of the greatest pleasures of visiting the Delhi Farmers' Market is discovering the stories behind the people who produce our food. Every vendor brings something unique to the market, and Two Stones Farm is no exception.

Located in Fleischmanns, Two Stones Farm is known for its handcrafted sheep and goat milk cheeses, thoughtfully curated farm shop, and passion for bringing locally produced foods to the community. Their weekly presence at the Delhi Farmers' Market gives visitors the opportunity to experience the flavors of the Catskills while meeting the people behind the products.

At the heart of Two Stones Farm is a commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Their cheeses are made using milk from animals raised with care, resulting in distinctive flavors that reflect both the farm and the surrounding landscape. Whether you're building a charcuterie board, preparing a special dinner, or simply looking for something delicious to enjoy at home, their artisan cheeses have become favorites among market shoppers.

But Two Stones Farm offers much more than cheese.

Their Main Street shop in Fleischmanns has become a destination for residents and visitors looking for carefully selected local foods, fresh breads, sweet treats, pantry items, and specialty products from throughout the region. It's a place where shopping local becomes an experience, celebrating the abundance and creativity of the Catskills.

That same spirit carries over to the Delhi Farmers' Market each week.

Whether you're already a cheese enthusiast or simply looking to discover something new, Two Stones Farm offers an authentic taste of the Catskills that's rooted in quality, craftsmanship, and community.

Be sure to stop by their tent at the Delhi Farmers’ Market this season. Visit the The Two Stones site, follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce Announces 2026 Pellegrino Grant Winners

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Pellegrino Grant: Bakers Grimm and TAY TEA, two member businesses whose projects will enhance the beauty, vibrancy, and welcoming atmosphere of the Greater Delhi area.

The Pellegrino Grant is awarded annually to Chamber member businesses undertaking exterior or interior improvements that enhance the charm and appeal of the community. In 2026, the Chamber awarded two grants of $2,500 each to help bring these exciting projects to life. These grants are reviewed and voted on by an independent group who are deeply connected to the community but are not members of the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce board.

Bakers Grimm

Bakers Grimm will use its grant to expand and beautify its outdoor customer space along Main Street. The project includes the purchase of handcrafted five-foot oak benches, folding bistro tables, and the construction of a custom-built flower cart to better display fresh flowers throughout the season.

The additions will create a more comfortable gathering space where customers and visitors can sit, enjoy their treats, and spend time downtown. The new flower cart will not only improve functionality but also add color and visual appeal to one of Main Street's most beloved storefronts. Bakers Grimm will contribute additional funding and labor to complete the project.

TAY TEA

TAY TEA will use its grant to enhance the exterior of its new location at 84 Main Street with improved signage, outdoor seating, and an awning that creates a welcoming place for visitors to relax and enjoy tea outdoors.

Owner Nini Ordoubadi envisions the expanded outdoor space as an extension of the shop's unique lifestyle experience, offering guests an inviting place to gather while adding beauty and energy to downtown Delhi. The improvements will increase visibility for the business while contributing to a more vibrant streetscape for residents and visitors alike.

Investing in the Future of Delhi

The Pellegrino Grant was created to encourage projects that not only strengthen individual businesses but also improve the overall experience of living, working, shopping, and visiting the Greater Delhi area. By supporting investments in attractive storefronts, outdoor gathering spaces, and welcoming public-facing improvements, the Chamber hopes to foster continued economic vitality and community pride.

Congratulations to Bakers Grimm and TAY TEA on being selected as the 2026 Pellegrino Grant recipients. We look forward to watching these projects take shape and seeing the positive impact they will have on our community.

Farmers’ Market Spotlight: momoglobal flowers

Some farms grow food. Some farms grow experiences.

Nestled on 20 acres in Jeffersonville, momoglobal flowers is doing a little bit of both by cultivating beautiful blooms, artistic expression, and meaningful community connections throughout the Catskills.

Founded by Kaya Abe Magee, momoglobal flowers combines biodynamic flower farming with the centuries-old Japanese art of Ikebana, creating a business that feels both deeply rooted in the local landscape and connected to traditions from around the world. What began as a passion for floral design has blossomed into a unique destination where flowers, creativity, and nature come together.

Kaya's journey into flower farming began during the pandemic when she found herself spending more time outdoors and learning about biodynamic agriculture. Inspired by the relationship between healthy soil, healthy ecosystems, and healthy communities, she established momoglobal flowers in 2022 and began cultivating flowers using biodynamic farming principles on her Jeffersonville property.

The result is a stunning variety of blooms grown with care and intention. According to Kaya, biodynamic practices help create stronger plants with vibrant colors, fragrant petals, and longer vase life. Beyond the flowers themselves, the farm provides habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife, helping support the broader ecosystem that makes our rural communities so special.

But flowers are only part of the story.

As a longtime practitioner and teacher of Ikebana, Kaya brings a unique artistic perspective to everything she creates. Unlike traditional Western floral arrangements that often emphasize abundance, Ikebana focuses on balance, simplicity, movement, and the beauty of space. Through workshops, classes, and demonstrations, Kaya introduces participants to this centuries-old art form while encouraging mindfulness, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for nature.

The next time you visit the Delhi Farmers' Market, be sure to stop by momoglobal flowers. Whether you're looking for a beautiful bouquet, interested in learning more about biodynamic farming, or simply want to brighten someone's day, you'll find something special waiting among the blooms.

Chamber Member Spotlight: Franklin Eyewear

Franklin Eyewear Approaches a Decade of Service in Delhi

In a world increasingly dominated by big-box retailers, online shopping, and corporate chains, there's something special about a local business that builds its reputation one customer, one family, and one relationship at a time.

This September, Franklin Eyewear will mark 10 years of serving the Delhi community. Since opening in 2016, the locally owned business has become a trusted resource for quality eyewear, professional expertise, and personalized service.

As the business approaches this important milestone, it's an opportunity to reflect on what has helped Franklin Eyewear thrive for nearly a decade: a commitment to putting people first.

At Franklin Eyewear, purchasing glasses is about much more than selecting frames. Every customer receives personalized attention from both Johanna VanDeusen, a NYS Licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser or Dr. Helen Luu Garner, an experienced Optometrist. The team at Franklin Eyewear takes the time to understand each clients visual needs, lifestyle, and preferences. Whether someone is purchasing their first pair of glasses, updating a prescription, or searching for the perfect frame, the focus remains on providing individualized solutions and expert guidance.

That level of service has become increasingly valuable in today's fast-paced retail environment.

Customers who choose Franklin Eyewear benefit from accurate measurements, prescription verification, eyewear adjustments, repairs, and troubleshooting support long after their purchase. The business also offers warranties on many products and stands behind the eyewear it sells, creating peace of mind that extends well beyond the day a customer walks out the door.

What many people don't realize is that purchasing eyewear from a local provider often means gaining an ongoing relationship with a trusted professional. When adjustments are needed, prescriptions change, or questions arise, customers know they have a knowledgeable local expert they can turn to for help.

Franklin Eyewear has also remained committed to affordability throughout its nearly ten years in business. Despite the challenges faced by many small businesses—including a global pandemic, supply chain disruptions, and rising inflation—the business has worked hard to keep quality eyewear accessible to local families. Their mission has remained consistent: providing quality eyecare and eyewear at affordable prices while maintaining the high standards customers expect.

Approaching a decade in business is an achievement worth celebrating. It reflects years of dedication, adaptability, and the trust of countless customers who have chosen Franklin Eyewear for their eyewear needs.

As Franklin Eyewear looks ahead to its tenth anniversary in September 2026, the business remains focused on the same values that guided it from the beginning: professional expertise, quality products, personalized service, and a genuine commitment to the community it serves.

To learn more about Franklin Eyewear, visit their website here and make an appointment at their Delhi location to experience the difference that local expertise and personalized service can make.

And of course, one of the greatest pleasures of summer is outdoor dining.

Whether you're enjoying dinner on the back at The Shire Pub, gathering with friends under the umbrellas at Strickland Hollow Cafe, grabbing a slice outside at Delhi Pizza Company, grabbing lunch at Good Cheap Food, or relaxing outdoors on the golf course at Bluestone, summer dining offers a chance to slow down and enjoy a meal and drink outdoors right in Delhi.

What’s Coming up in the Delhi Area?

As summer season begins to take shape across Delaware County, there’s no shortage of activity happening in and around the greater Delhi area. From arts and community events to public workshops and seasonal celebrations, the region continues to showcase the creativity, collaboration and small-town energy that make this area so special.

The local arts community continues to gain recognition and momentum following the recent success of Upstate Art Weekend, which welcomed visitors into artist studios and creative spaces across the region. New Chamber member GG Stankiewicz Studio was recently featured in The Reporter for her participation in the event and her unique handmade paper art created from locally harvested plants and natural materials.

As part of that continued momentum, GG Stankiewicz will also host “Art Wednesdays” open studio hours from 10 AM – 2 PM on select Wednesdays throughout the summer during the Delhi Farmers’ Market season.

The summer season also brings continued promotion of the greater Delhi area to visitors traveling throughout the region. The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce will once again have a billboard campaign running along Interstate 88 in Oneonta this summer, welcoming travelers and baseball families visiting the area and encouraging them to explore Delhi’s shops, restaurants, events and outdoor experiences. We’re excited to continue introducing new visitors to everything the Delhi area has to offer while supporting our local businesses during the busy summer months.

Coming up first on the calendar is a public celebration for the release of The Findery’s Issue 3 on Saturday, May 30 from 3–7 PM at Wayside Cider. The event will feature local snacks, creative conversation, community gathering and great cider as the region heads into summer.

On Monday, June 2, community members are invited to attend the Delhi Rotary Club Spring Social at Bushel Collective. The evening offers a chance to connect with neighbors, local leaders and community organizations in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This is being held the same evening as the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce Mixer at Steady Slope Strength.

The beloved Delhi Bridge Run returns on Saturday, June 6 for its 30th annual race through the heart of the Village of Delhi. The community-centered 5K begins and ends in Hoyt Park and continues to bring together runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters from throughout the region for a fun and energetic morning in Delaware County. Proceeds from the event support scholarships for graduating Delaware County seniors as well as local school and community organizations, continuing a tradition that has positively impacted local students for decades. The event has become one of Delhi’s signature early summer traditions and a great opportunity for visitors to experience the community while supporting a meaningful local cause.

Then on Saturday, June 7, Pink Street Festival returns to the area and organizers are currently seeking vendors for the event. The festival continues to grow as a colorful and community-centered celebration bringing together artists, musicians, makers and visitors from throughout the region.

Residents are also encouraged to participate in the Town and Village of Delhi Joint Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop taking place on Wednesday, June 10 at Bluestone at Scotch Mountain. The workshop will focus on the future vision, growth and planning priorities for the Delhi community and offers an important opportunity for public input.

As always, the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce encourages residents and visitors alike to support local businesses, attend community events and explore all that makes the greater Delhi area such a vibrant place to live, work and visit.

Be sure to check the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce events calendar regularly to stay updated on everything happening throughout the area over the coming weeks.

Farmers’ Market Spotlight: Silo 52 Flowers & For You by Terah Patrocinio

One of the things that makes the Delhi Farmers' Market so special is the way it brings together creative small businesses, local makers, and the people behind them. This week’s Farmers’ Market Spotlight highlights two vendors who not only share a tent—but also share a family connection.

Sisters behind Silo 52 Flowers and For You by Terah Patrocinio have created a market space that feels thoughtful, creative, and distinctly personal, offering visitors two unique businesses side by side each week.

Silo 52 Flowers brings beautiful locally grown flowers and arrangements to the market, adding color, texture, and a sense of seasonal beauty to Courthouse Square. Whether you’re looking for a bouquet to brighten your home, a thoughtful gift, or simply something that captures the feeling of the Catskills in bloom, their flowers help make every market visit feel a little more special.

Alongside them is For You by Terah Patrocinio, a creative handmade brand featuring thoughtfully designed products that reflect artistry, personality, and care. Together, the sisters have created a welcoming market presence that blends creativity, craftsmanship, and community connection.

What makes their shared tent especially memorable is the experience itself. Visitors are able to explore two complementary businesses in one stop while meeting the people behind the work. It’s a reminder that the Delhi Farmers’ Market is not just about shopping locally—it’s about building relationships with the artists, growers, and makers who help define this community.

Supporting Tourism, Strengthening Community: Celebrating 2026 Grant Recipients

The Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to congratulate a few of our members—and projects we were honored to fiscally sponsor—on receiving 2026 Delaware County Tourism Development and Promotion Grants through Delaware County Economic Development.

This annual grant program supports projects, events, and initiatives that strengthen Delaware County’s tourism economy, attract visitors, and enhance the county’s profile as a year-round destination. From cultural programming to destination marketing and special events, these grants help bring new energy and opportunity to communities across the county.

We are especially excited to celebrate The Findery and Kings, two projects for which the Greater Delhi Area Chamber of Commerce proudly served as fiscal sponsor during the grant application process. Supporting strong local ideas and helping businesses and organizations access funding opportunities is an important part of our mission, and we are thrilled to see both projects recognized.

We also want to congratulate West Kortright Centre, another Chamber member, on receiving funding as part of this year’s program. Their continued work in arts, culture, and community engagement plays an important role in bringing visitors to the region and enriching the local experience.

These investments help strengthen Delaware County as a destination while supporting the businesses, organizations, and creative leaders who make our communities vibrant places to live, work, and visit. We are proud to celebrate these recipients and look forward to seeing their projects come to life. Click here to find the entire list of grant winners.

Chamber Member Spotlight: Stay Catskills & Goldenrod Properties

Stay Catskills has built a reputation for offering thoughtfully curated vacation rentals throughout the Catskills region, helping travelers experience the area like a local. Their collection of homes ranges from cozy cabins tucked into the woods to beautifully restored farmhouses and stylish modern retreats—each designed to offer comfort, character, and an authentic Catskills experience.

More than just a place to stay, Stay Catskills helps guests connect with the region itself. Whether visitors are here for hiking, skiing, weddings, fall foliage, or simply a quiet weekend away, their properties create the kind of experience that keeps people coming back year after year.
